Red Boy (红孩儿 hong har) is the son of Princess Iron Fan and Bull Demon King.
Story[]
Red boy is a demon despised to eat Tang Sanzang. He disguises himself as a child tied up on a tree. The group freed him and Sun Wukong was expected to carry him. He capture Tang Sanzang by turnin to wind. Sun Wukong asked a ground god to come and explain who the demon is. He revealed he is the son of Bull demon king, who was sun wukong’s sworn brother 500 years ago. Sun Wukong and the team went to his cave. He didnt believe what Wukong said and fought him. he couldn’t defeat Sun Wukong so he used magic fire and scared them off. Sun Wukong decided to ask the dragon king for water. He once again returned to Red Boy’s cave and got him to come out. Red boy again used fire and the dragon king rained. However it just makes the fire worse. Sun Wukong fled to a river to reduce the burn. The group then decided to ask Guanyin for help. Zhu Bajie went but Red Boy found out and disguised himself as Guanyin and Tricked Bajie, capturing him. Sun Wukong disguised into a bug and found out the truth. He got the real Guanyin and disguised as Bull Demon King. Red Boy got suspicious and asked about his birthday. Wukong changed back to himself and fought red boy. Once again, he used his magic fire but Guanyin made it disappear with a pot. When Red boy say Guanyin, he asked why is she here Guanyin ignored him and red boy attacks her. Guanyin vanished, and red boy thinks she is scared. He sits on Guanyin’s lotus platform which turns into swords. Red boy pleaded for his life. Guanyin demands him to become her student red boy accepted it. When Guanyin released him, he attempted to attack her again. Guanyin threw five metal bands at him and they counted around his head and limbs. Wukong freed his master and continued their journey. Guanyin took Red Boy to her mountain to be her student.
